DRIVIC B.V. – GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Company Information
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Drivic B.V. (“Drivic” or “Company”), established under the laws of Curaçao.
By using this website and/or booking a vehicle, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services
Drivic provides:
- Vehicle rental services
- Optional protection packages (Full Protection and Gold Protection)
- Delivery and pickup services
All services are subject to availability and confirmation.
3. Reservations & Bookings
3.1 A reservation is confirmed only after acceptance by Drivic.
3.2 Drivic reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking.
3.3 The renter must provide accurate and complete information.
4. Pricing & Payments
4.1 All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Card payments may be subject to a processing fee (5%).
4.2 Prices include standard coverage unless otherwise specified.
4.3 Additional charges may apply, including:
- Optional protection packages
- Add-ons and services
- Fuel differences
- Cleaning fees
- Traffic fines
- Damage-related costs
4.4 Drivic reserves the right to correct pricing errors.
5. Security Deposit / Authorization
5.1 Drivic may require a security deposit or a temporary authorization hold at the start of the rental, depending on operational conditions and the selected coverage.
5.2 The amount serves as a guarantee for potential charges during the rental period.
5.3 If a deposit is charged, it will be refunded after the vehicle is returned and inspected, subject to any outstanding charges.
5.4 If an authorization hold is used, the amount is not charged and will be released after the rental, subject to inspection.
6. Protection & Liability
6.1 Standard coverage includes a deductible of up to USD 500 per incident.
6.2 Full Protection
- Reduces the deductible to USD 0 for collision damage only
- Reduced or no deposit requirement may apply depending on policy
6.3 Gold Protection
- Reduces the deductible to USD 0 for collision damage
- Includes coverage for:
- Tires
- Rims
- Windshield and glass
- Reduced or no deposit requirement may apply
6.4 Exclusions (Apply to All Protection Options)
The following are not covered under any protection package:
- Interior damage
- Undercarriage damage
- Water damage
- Loss of keys or documents
- Damage caused by negligence or misuse
- Driving under the influence
- Unauthorized drivers
- Failure to follow required procedures in case of accident
6.5 Roof / Height Damage
Roof, height, and overhead damage carry a minimum liability of USD 500 per incident, regardless of coverage selected.
7. Use of Vehicles
The renter agrees to:
- Use the vehicle responsibly
- Comply with all traffic laws
- Not drive under the influence
- Only allow authorized drivers
Violation may result in full liability.
8. Accidents & Damage
In case of accident or damage, the renter must:
- Contact Drivic immediately
- Contact Forensys Curaçao (9233)
- Obtain a Forensys report
Failure to comply may affect coverage.
9. Vehicle Condition & Cleaning
The vehicle must be returned in a reasonably clean condition.
Sand
Excessive sand inside the vehicle may result in a cleaning fee starting from USD 25, depending on the level of cleaning required.
Interior Damage
Saltwater, stains, or damage to seats and interior surfaces may result in a cleaning or repair fee, with a minimum of USD 25 per affected seat.
Additional Cleaning
Smoking or excessive contamination may result in a minimum cleaning fee of USD 150.
10. Cancellations & Modifications
Reservations may be modified by contacting Drivic.
Cancellation conditions may apply depending on the booking.
11. Late Returns
Late returns may result in additional charges as defined in the Rental Agreement.
12. Limitation of Liability
Drivic is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of personal belongings
- Delays beyond its control
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
13. Privacy
Drivic processes personal data for:
- Booking management
- Customer service
- Legal compliance
Data may be shared with authorities if required by law.
14. Website Use
14.1 Website content is for informational purposes only.
14.2 Drivic does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website.
14.3 Unauthorized use of the website is prohibited.
15. Changes to Terms
Drivic reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Curaçao.
All disputes shall be submitted to the Court of First Instance of Curaçao.
